Me

First off, thanks for visiting me, YOU are awesome!

My name is Mark Geyer, I live in Arizona, and I’m a User Interface Design Manager by day and a freelance designer of everything by night. People who know me can attest that I’m very passionate about creating quality design and user experiences for software, the web, and really anything that benefits users in some way.

I was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska and moved to Phoenix, Arizona when I was eight. I grew up with a strong urge to know how things worked and why – I would purposely take apart new toys just to see how they functioned and put them back together. When I got in high school, art and computers were my thing (nerd!). That led to art and design school and that’s where I became a junkie, a web junkie - there I grew a strong foundation to draw, animate, design, code, and create user experiences.

Forwarding to today – when designing, I put myself in the user’s shoes to create the most intuitive interfaces as possible, thrive on being compliant & accessible, and design to the best of my abilities. Creating rich experiences for users is a passion of mine and I hope you see some of that passion throughout this site.
